Bowie Green Expo

The Bowie Green Expo is on April 14th at the Kenhill Center, in Bowie, from noon-4pm. The Bowie Green Expo is a free, family-fun event open to the public that seeks to promote awareness about Green programs and initiatives within the City. Activities include a Kids Zone with make and take activities, live entertainment, electric car display, and over 50 vendors showcasing their environmental friendly products and services. 100 Games for Going Green

Recycling can be fun! At this Centennial event on March 18, youth can bring specified recyclable materials to play 100 games.

Recycling can be fun! At this Centennial event on March 18, youth can bring specified recyclable materials to turn them into different kinds of game balls. The balls then will be used to play 100 games. Event goes from 1-5pm at the Bowie Gym (4100 Northview Drive, Bowie MD). Games are designed for ages 3 - 12. The requested materials to participate include yarn, socks, 5 - 7-inch squares of fabric, 5 - 7-inch lengths of narrow fabric, 5 - 7-inch lengths of soft rope, old newspapers, and plastic grocery bags. Volunteers are also needed to guide children through the activities.
